"I always appear fat in most photos and had been contemplating botox to slim down my face. However, I had put it off for sometime till I saw the NeuGlow banner ad in Cozycot, and I decided to just give it a try. I was elated to receive a call from NeuGlow a few days later, notifying me that I had won the BOTOX® masseter reduction treatment. The thought of being able to achieve a slimmer face thrilled me even more.
It being my first time going for an aesthetic procedure explained the fact that I was a bundle of nerves when I reached the NeuGlow clinic. However, I soon calmed down after speaking to their staff and Dr Gerard Tan who was patient in explaining and answering whatever queries I had regarding the procedure. He also showed me the results his past patients got after receiving the BOTOX® masseter reduction treatment. After seeing those photos, I could not wait to get my treatment done.
The entire BOTOX® masseter reduction treatment was quick and minimally painful. The nurse numbed the area to be injected with ice and then I was given two jabs on each side of the jaw. Everything was so fast, it probably took less than five minutes! I was told that results would be more visible 6-8 weeks later.
It is currently the 7th week and I saw the difference when I went back for a review with Dr Gerard Tan who showed me a before and after photo of me. My face no longer look as huge and squarish as before. I had a touch up done and I can't wait to see my face
slim down even more.
